Resources for Scrutinizing (so-called) Renewable Energy, Part One
Sadly, the most visible and most vocal climate activists are barking up the wrong tree. This includes Greta, Bill McKibben, Naomi Klein and Al Gore.
This is Part One of a multipart series, in which I load you up with all the resources you need, in order to think critically about so-called renewable energy, electric cars, recycling, efficiency, etc.
After five years as a climate reporter, this is my digital library of the most valuable videos, articles and books.
Documentary: Planet of the Humans. Executive produced by Michael Moore, this 2020 blockbuster has racked up 13 million views on YouTube. If nothing else, watch the three minutes between 36 and 39.
Audio: Here is my audio commentary on Planet of the Humans.
Article: Max Blumenthal’s article on Planet of the Humans, and the “green” response to the movie. “‘Green’ billionaires behind professional activist network that led suppression of ‘Planet of the Humans’ documentary”

At 9000 words, it is a devastating critique of the billionaires and Wall Street backed Big Green institutions that are posing as saviors of the planet, but are actually part of the problem, or at least part of a massive deception.
Interview: In this interview, Max Blumenthal talks with Michael Moore about his 2020 research project that exposes the green corruption behind the orchestrated environmentalist response to Planet of the Humans, and their attempt to censor the movie on the basis of bogus copyright claims.
Interview: Here is my interview with Jeff Gibbs, writer, producer and director of Planet of the Humans.
Please look at these and tell me what you think.
In the next installment, I will tell you all about Bright Green Lies, by Derrick Jensen, Lierre Keith and Max Wilbert. I will also share my interviews with Derrick and Max, as well as filmmaker Julia Barnes, maker of the documentary Bright Green Lies.
All this is important because of the disconnect between what they say needs to be done and what really needs to be done. Hint: The climate and our earth need us to stop making war on its ecosystems and the living beings with whom we share this green and blue planet.
Here’s why: Life creates the conditions for life. We have a livable planet because we have a living planet. Our living systems and our fellow living beings need to be our top priority, not just an afterthought.
More later.
Thanks for reading.
